Bursaries

With the kind support from both the Quantitative Methods Research Group and the GIScience Research Group at the Royal Geographical Society with the IBG we are able to offer 5 early careers bursaries.

To be eligible for a bursary you will need to be registered for a PhD or Masters degree and have a full paper accepted in the main programme. More applications than bursaries are typically received, so they will be assigned on a competitive basis with later stage PhD students being giving priority.

Each bursary is worth £140 and requires that you attend the Young Researchers Forum workshop and main conference. To apply for a bursary, please contact s.alvanides@northumbria.ac.uk.
